Thursday Night Hive: Easily the best night out of your week. Thursday Night Hive does what it says on the tin, along with discount drinks, karaoke in Playing Fields and fantastic, student friendly tunes playing in Deep 6 and the Hive.

Every Friday night from 9pm The GUU is host to musical artists of all levels of talent and all different genres at our weekly Open Mic night. So after a tough night throwing mad shapes in The HIVE pop down to hear some live music, or even get up on that stage yourself, then get your friends together and get down to Deep 6.

HIVE EXTRA!! This is our new Saturday night club night designed purposely for students as the cheapest, biggest and best club night in Glasgow.
Come down to the Beer Bar to catch Xfactor from 8.30pm or join us in DEEP 6 from 10pm where the Games committee will be doing what they do best in the form of 'Its Saturday presents....' with amazing prizes to be won !
The BEER BAR is open from 12.30pm. Remember, we play all major sports events on the TVs down there, so if there's a match on and we're not showing it, just ask the staff and we'll try to get it on for you!
