Here at the GUU we like to think we're very entertaining. This extends beyond the fun we can all have given a tenner and a well stocked bar. The Entertainments Committee are here to make sure you enjoy yourself even MORE than you would on your own at home with a bottle of cheap rose.

For example, we run one of the best acoustic music nights in the whole wide world. Ever… …Open Mic Night.

We also run theme nights once a month and these are always a bit of a hoot. Ned nights, Beach Parties, Halloween & Valentines Balls, the Hive is the limit.

Ents at the Union is constantly evolving, and we can’t come up with all these great ideas on our own forever! So if you have any ideas of how we can make the Union better for you, don't hesitate to give us a shout on entertainments@guu.co.uk.

We'll also be looking for a new committee member sometime in first term, so watch this space!
