The Union provides not just 1 shop, but 4. As well as our General Store, the building hosts a Costa Coffee Shop, Book Shop and Subway Sandwich shop.

Shop

The shop at GUU provides everything that a student (or lecturer) would need to get through the day. From faculty/stationery supplies to snacks, sandwiches, magazines to lab coats and off-license to pharmacy, the Union has what you are looking for.

Coffee Shop

Located in the Beer Bar, our Costa Coffee Shop is the ideal place for a caffeine fix or if you just want to kick back and relax whilst catching the news or a match on our newly installed Plasma TVs.

Whether you're a mocha chic or a latte lad, the smell of freshly baked cookies will be enough to entice you in! We even have some herbal and fruit teas for the health conscious.

At half the cost of the high street Costa chain, you'd be mad to go anywhere else!

Book Shop

The GUU also has a book shop on site with a variety of both academic and for pleasure. Special offers are on throughout the year, so feel free to pop in and take advantage.
