The Glasgow University Union is quite simply one of the greatest places on earth, and it’s our members that make it so – not just by socialising and drinking here, but by running the place as well!
All members can have an input into the running of the Union, by running for election to the Board of Management.
This seventeen-strong body hold the Union purse strings, and make the decisions on how best to improve the Union for membership in the future. Whilst on the Board of Management, you’ll pick up a great deal of useful knowledge on the ins and outs of business, and will have the opportunity to oversee all sorts of projects such as the renovation of entire bars and the launching of promotional campaigns, events and club nights.
It’s hard work, but extremely rewarding, guaranteeing you life long friends, memories and experiences unlike any other student body can offer you! Interested? Here’s how to get involved…
